Don’t Be a Stranger

Walk with Mary Virginia on October 19 at N Street Village Strong: A Community Walk.

Mary Virginia is excited to participate in her third N Street Village Community Walk.  This year, she will serve as one of our 2013 Village Walk Captains. “Nobody is a stranger at the Walk because everyone is united together as a family,” Mary Virginia recently reflected.

Mary Virginia 3We are only 17 days away from N Street Village’s Community Walk and closing in on our goal of 2,000 in-person or virtual walkers.  With your support we will reach our goal and receive a $20,000 incentive from Fannie Mae!  If you haven’t already – please join our team and invite your friends to walk with us too. Every walker counts.

Every person who joins our team, even if you cannot attend the Walk on October 19, will count towards our walker goal.  Adult walkers can register for $30 and youth walkers (25 and younger) can register for $20. If we reach our goal, the additional $20,000 N Street Village receives will allow us to provide housing and supportive services for women like Mary Virginia.  Learn more about Mary Virginia on our team page and show your support by joining our team today!

P.S. Already have plans on October 19?  No problem.  Join our team and count towards our walker goal without attending the Walk.  This year there is no “virtual walker” option, register by using the adult or youth walker option and count towards our goal.
