Volunteer Opportunity

Join our Bread Pick-Up Team!

Every Thursday Whole Foods on 14th & P Street N.W. donates bread to N Street Village. We receive enough bread to serve in our drop-in day center  and our night shelter for an entire week.

We are looking for an individual to help us pick up the bread one or two Thursday mornings a month. Volunteers pick bread up at Whole Foods on P street between 8am and no later than 9am and drop it off at N Street Village (just a few blocks away.) Traditionally, our volunteers are able to provide this service and then head to work afterwards. A car is required to complete this service opportunity.

All individuals new to N Street Village are required to attend a volunteer orientation prior to service. Learn more about the steps to begin volunteering on our website.
